It was built in the year 1155, and enlarged and enriched with the sacristy in the year 1614. Nothing remains of the ancient structure and nowadays , the building presents baroque features and an unfinished facade, partially plastered and partially with a stone surface.
One enters following a short flight of steps, inside there are three naves with a scaffolding roof , with four lateral altars and two chapels in the presbytery. In the first chapel on the right, one can admire a wooden polychromous statue of the Virgin Mary, of Umbrian tradition, dated XIV century. There is also , on the second altar on the right, a canvas representing the Virgin Mary with Saints, of senise tradition, dated the second half of the XVI century.
The baptistery in travertine dates 1938.
