The Tomb of the Lady Pilgrim is one of the Etruscan tombs in Chiusi. It’s situated at about 2 km. from town on the road that takes to Lake Chiusi, in the necropolis of Poggio Renzo. Its name comes from the farmhouse , where it’s located. The tomb, open to the public, belonged to the Sentinates Family, it’s dated between the end of the IVth century and the beginning of the IIIrd century B.C. Already plundered in ancient times, it now appears as it was found , with five sarcophagi and twelve alabaster and travertine urns with the lids overturned or knocked over , as the plunderers left it. It’s made of a long entrance dromos (corridor), along which four niches and three funerary rooms open up. In the central room, Larth Sentinates Caesa’s urn , now in the Archeological Museum of Chiusi, was found.
